The Evolution of Fred

Most folks know me as Colorado’s Bigfoot. What many don’t know is that my journey started long before I ever saw the Rockies. From the hills of Kentucky… to the swamps of Florida… to the mountains of Colorado… Every place I called home helped shape the explorer I am today.

Q:

So… are you really Bigfoot?

Well… some folks call me Bigfoot. Some call me Sasquatch. Around here, I’m just Fred.

Q:

Why do you spend so much time exploring?

Because life is too short for boring weekends. I love finding places where families can make memories, dogs can run, and kids can just be kids.

Q:

Why should I trust your recommendations?

Because I don’t try to list every place in Colorado. I only recommend places I’d tell my own friends to visit.

Q:

What’s in your backpack?

Binoculars, water bottle, trail snacks, first aid kit, camera, and a map… just in case.

A Promise From Fred

Fred’s Promise

One thing that’s important to me is protecting kids. That’s why you’ll never see recognizable front-facing photos of children on Front Range Explorin’.

Parks and trails are for making memories—not putting kids on display. I’d rather show you the adventure and inspire your own family to get outside.
