Why You’ll Love This Park

Founders Park isn’t just a playground sitting in the middle of a grassy field. There are things to discover throughout the park, making it a good choice when the family wants a little variety. Kids can climb and play, older visitors can try the fitness features, families can shoot some hoops or toss a ball around, and everyone can slow down and notice the mining-inspired details incorporated into the park. The mix of recreation and local history is what helps Founders Park stand out from a typical neighborhood park.

Trail and park information—including fees, hours, access, reservations, rules and conditions—is subject to change. Always confirm current details with the official managing agency before your visit.

4.0 Out of 5

I visited Founders Park in Superior, Colorado, and explored it firsthand. I dig the park’s shade and views, but was disappointed by only 1 dog waste station, which wasn’t convenient to the main park area. If it were not for that I would have given the park 5 solid paws!
