I moved to Colorado from Florida in March, where folks knew me as “The Skunk Ape.” Now I’m proud to call Colorado home. The locals call me Bigfoot, but you can call me Fred!
Along for the ride is Zero, my faithful adventure buddy and resident expert on all things dog-friendly. Together, we’re here to help locals, visitors, families and everyday explorers discover parks, playgrounds, splash pads, trails, dog-friendly destinations and scenic drives across Colorado’s Front Range—and beyond.
I believe getting outside should be something we can all enjoy, in our own way and at our own pace. For some folks, that means hiking a trail or taking a walk in the park. For others, a scenic drive offers a way to enjoy Colorado’s beauty when a hike—or even a short walk—isn’t possible.
Whether you’re explorin’ close to home or heading out on a road trip across the state, the goal is simple: spend a little less time looking at a screen and a little more time taking in the world around you.
